Is it Wrong to Love Your Country?
Having or wearing the American flag doesn't make you a domestic terrorist
I’m not a big fan of giving free advertising to corporations by wearing their logo on my shirt; to me, that seems like unpaid work carrying a billboard for some slave-labor abuser. Other than my two J.P. Sears t-shirts that say, “Fear Is Not A Virtue,” most of my shirts are fairly plain, unlabeled and contain no graphics. So picking up an American flag shirt on eBay was a step outside of my quasi-goth wardrobe.
I was wearing my flag shirt at the gym when a former regular yoga student outside of the gym and sporadic personal training client came into my vicinity. I was expecting a greeting such as, “Your ass is looking like a military bed that can bounce a quarter off of it!” Instead, responding to my flag shirt, he said, “Don’t tell me you’re a Trumpy!” I was taken aback. “Are you saying that if I take pride in my country that means that I’m voting for Trump?” The sad answer to my question, whether spoken or not, seems to be “Yes.”
The self-proclaimed party of “joy” seems to hate our country and the people in it. You have to look no further than to see how the current administration treats veterans, the homeless and victims of catastrophes, such as the Maui fires and the North Carolina area where floods destroyed homes and communities versus how they treat unvetted illegal aliens who broke the law to get into this country, many of them with a criminal record who continue to commit crimes here. WITH NO QUESTIONS ASKED, an illegal will get free housing in a hotel, free food, a free gift card of thousands of dollars and a free flight to anywhere in the country, where they can fly without an I.D.—unlike every American citizen who needs to practically give blood, urine and semen samples to prove you are who you say you are.
This same government offered the people of Lahaina, Maui whose land was destroyed by a DEW (Direct Energy Weapon) and the North Carolina area destroyed by floods whose anomalous patterns make it appear to be caused by weather manipulation technology (something that has been documented since the 1960s) the same $700+ per person, for which they had to fill out paperwork and many were rejected. HOW CAN ANYONE ON EITHER SIDE OF THE POLITICAL SPECTRUM THINK THIS IS OKAY??
While no one questions that as a country the USA has room for improvement, what the critics of the USA fail to give praise for is how far we have come from our start. We started out with slavery, for God’s sake, and moved past that! Women didn’t have the right to vote and now they do (okay, maybe some changes were for the worse). Just like every reader has grown hopefully not just in chronological age but also in consciousness, so has expanded our country’s consciousness, measured by her citizens, her laws and Amendments. When Thomas Edison after 10,000 failed attempts finally figured out how to use electricity to power the light bulb, he wasn’t remembered in history for his failures but rather for what he created when he overcame his failures.
I would hope that I would see universal pride in our country with a striving to do even better but looking at the displaying of the United States flag, which is a representation of our country, you might conclude otherwise. I have seen Republicans put flags up by their homes, bring them to rallies and chant, “USA! USA!” at sports events. On the other hand, Democrats, and the FBI on a brochure on how to identify a domestic terrorist, seem to consider having an American flag or talking about the Constitution to be subversive. Even some Olympic athletes representing the United States, turned their backs on the flag when The National Anthem was sung.
“They are directly speaking to millions and millions of people without any level of oversight or regulation. And that has to stop.”
—Kamala Harris on social media
“There is no guarantee for free speech on misinformation.”
—”Tampon” Tim Walz
If you voice the importance of the First Amendment and freedom of speech, you will be met with, “Disinformation should be censored!” If you say, “I shouldn’t be forced to take an experimental gene therapy ‘vaccine’,” people like Arnold Schwartzenegger will say, “Fuck your freedom!” and news anchors and unfunny talk show hosts like Jimmy “Kid-Friendly” Kimmel will propose that you should be refused the right to hospitalization. If you talk about the right to defend yourself with a gun, especially in blue states like California where they allow stealing under $1000 to go unpunished, or NYC where they allowed illegals to kick a grounded police officer and walk out of an arraignment hearing bail free—only to be picked up later for committing more crime—you are called a “gun nut.”
When running for President, Joe Biden said he was going to cross party lines and unite people. Yet for the first time in American history, a President didn’t name-call just his opponent—he insulted United States citizens, calling anyone who supported Trump and the MAGA movement a “domestic terrorist.” Hillary Clinton, the “Covid-19 vaccine” of the political world with about fifty-plus people associated with her “dying suddenly,” called people who supported Trump “deplorables.” And just about every liberal on television, whether on The View or a hired celebrity whore, seem unable to talk about anyone other than Trump, where they immediately go into hysterics how he will start wars and arrest his opponents, not only the very thing the Biden/Harris administration has done, but something that Trump in his four years in the White House never did. So what are they basing this on??
“I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character.”
—Martin Luther King, Jr.
We’ve heard, “Don’t judge a book by its cover” and “Don’t judge a person by their skin color,” yet many can’t seem to extend this courtesy of character beyond books and skin, as they judge others by their proximity to an American flag, completely ignorant of their own bigotry. Apparently patriots are not a protected class like transexuals or pedophiles or Joe Biden, who Special Counsel Robert Hur essentially said was guilty as fuck for having classified documents but was too senile to be prosecuted (but apparently he is okay to continue to be the President?)
I’ve seen Liberals refuse to have a discussion on issues—including Kamala Harris—and instead focus on character assassination, lose their heads and rarely smile. But don’t worry, “the party of joy” has Kamala Harris at the helm who will cackle like a hyena, including when asked a serious question like, “As the border tzar, why the fuck haven’t you been to the border?” And their idea of “research” is repeating like a parrot what CNN tells them, like how “Kamala Harris only told one lie during the Trump/Harris debate” [SEE THIS LINK FOR MY BREAKDOWN OF AT LEAST 13 LIES AND DECEPTIONS 11+2 lies Kamala told in the debate]. I’ve seen Conservatives welcome discussion with people who had opposing viewpoints, laugh a lot and do research outside of Fox television.
There was even a survey out of UCLA that found that Conservative women were hotter than lefty Liberal women. It was probably based less on the blue hair and boyish looks and more on the constant screaming and scowl on their faces. I don’t get it, I thought aborting babies was fun?
The latest strategy by Liberal media, Harris and her campaigners is to call Trump “Hitler,” as if anyone with half a brain doesn't look at this like a schoolyard kid who has already lost the fight walking off it defeat trying to save face by calling behind the protection of, in Kamala’s case the fake news, “I’ll kick your ass, you big fat doody face!” I expect this from children because they are immature. I expect this from politicians because, for the most part, they are all disgusting, ego-driven prostitutes for Big Pharma and other nefarious players. But from the common citizen I expected more.
“I disapprove of what you say, but I will defend to the death your right to say it.”
—Evelyn Beatrice Hall (The Friends of Voltaire, 1906)
I love this country and the principles it stands for. I love the Constitution and how it is a whip and chair to tame the unruly lion of government. I love the freedoms that we have in this country, one that allows “Gays and Women For Palestine” to demonstrate—where those same gays and women opening up their mouths in Palestine (Gaza) would be thrown off a building or slapped across the face for merely being gay or a woman with an opinion.
There have been many soldiers and patriots who have given up everything, including their lives, to create this beautiful bastion of freedom and, while I’ll defend your right to be critical of this country, I will also not remain silent while you abuse her, her parents and her children.
